Thought I'd open a ticket on this because it happened again this morning.

Sometimes, when I push a new .gemspec, I get email from GitHub like:

The gem build system failed with the following error:
Clone failed for dburkes/people_places_things, try again in several minutes.
The developers have been sent a copy of the error for debugging purposes.

If I manually request a gem rebuild, it sometimes works, but, right now, the button to manually request gem rebuild isn't showing up for me, at least in Safari 4, so, I'm stuck.

We're still fighting with this one. Usually if you try again with the force rebuild it'll work. What repo are you missing the rebuild button on?

It was missing on dburkes/people_places_things, but defunkt fixed that earlier today via IRC. So the gem is built now, but, you might want to leave this ticket open until the underlying problem is fixed.

I've been told the issue is with GFS lagging, and once we have moved to the new hardware it should go away.
